Job description

The Client Identities Team within the Engineering Division focuses on providing foundational platform services for identity and authentication solutions. This role involves designing, documenting, and testing enterprise software to manage digital client identities effectively. The team aims to enhance security while minimizing operational costs and streamlining the login process for external clients. Collaboration with technology risk groups and stakeholders is essential to ensure secure deployments and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

  • 7 or more years of experience designing and developing distributed applications in a collaborative global team.
  • Experience in designing and managing applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Proficiency in Java for distributed applications and Python for server-side scripts.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, Open ID Connect, and other identity management concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Document, design, and test service-oriented enterprise software for Authentication and Lifecycle Management.
  • Liaise with technology risk groups to review designs against security and control frameworks.
  • Participate in defining requirements and assist with deployment and support.
  • Ensure platforms are built according to SDLC recommendations and industry-standard practices.
  • Plan and run User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to engage stakeholders and acquire business approvals.
