Goldman Sachs is seeking a Generative AI Engineer to join their GenAI and DocAI organization. This role involves driving the adoption of advanced Generative AI technologies within the firm, focusing on enhancing developer productivity and addressing challenges in generative AI systems specific to the financial domain. The engineer will collaborate with colleagues to build an AI-enabled platform for Document Digitization and contribute to the development of Goldman’s AI Assistant. This position requires a strong background in software development and a passion for innovative solutions.
Requirements
- A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry demonstrating expertise.
- Extensive experience in software development for quantitative investment workflows in equities, fixed income, or multi-asset strategies.
- Proficiency in contemporary programming languages like Python, C++, or Java.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to build an AI-enabled platform for Document Digitization.
- Conceptualize, experiment with, and assess AI-based software systems.
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, production-ready code.
- Demonstrate technical leadership by taking charge of cross-team projects.
- Develop and deploy services in a cloud-native environment.
- Contribute to boosting developer productivity with Generative AI.
