Job description

This role focuses on backend and microservices development, requiring expertise in Java and Spring Boot. The team is responsible for architecting complex ETL workflows and ensuring robust API design and security. Candidates will work with event-driven architectures and real-time streaming technologies. Requirements

  • 4–7 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
  • Deep understanding of Java (8+) and core Spring Framework concepts.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
  • Proven track record of building production-grade ETL pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with message brokers, preferably Kafka.
  • Advanced knowledge of Relational Databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Solid understanding of API security best practices and web vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Architect and maintain complex ETL/ELT workflows utilizing Spring Batch.
  • Develop and document RESTful APIs for data exchange between systems.
  • Build event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Demonstrate SQL mastery by designing efficient schemas and writing complex queries.
  • Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
