Job description

The Early Career Technical Program Manager – Manufacturing Engineering at Rivian will support the Manufacturing Engineering organization by ensuring program health and execution. This role is suited for early-career engineers who enjoy systems thinking and cross-functional collaboration. The individual will standardize tools and processes while driving visibility to status and risks. The position involves working closely with various teams to facilitate smooth information flow and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in engineering, operations, manufacturing, or technical program/project coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and present clear summaries.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of integrated Manufacturing Engineering schedules and key milestones.
  • Coordinate regular cadences including open issue reviews and risk reviews.
  • Maintain clear status reporting for Manufacturing Engineering leadership.
  • Help drive timely closure of issues by coordinating owners and due dates.
  • Standardize Manufacturing Engineering program management tools and workflows.
  • Partner with senior TPMs to document best practices and playbooks.
  • Support configuration and continuous improvement of existing tools.
  • Contribute to metrics and KPIs that measure Manufacturing Engineering readiness.
  • Serve as a connector between Manufacturing Engineering and cross-functional partners.
  • Help prepare content for cross-functional reviews and ensure follow-ups are captured.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline program routines and communication flows.
