This position requires a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Strong, hands-on experience utilizing SAP as a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • A strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices, including Preventive and Predictive techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary change agent on the floor, driving the shift from reactive fire-fighting to proactive reliability.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure new equipment is accurately integrated into maintenance operations.
  • Plan and schedule all off-shift and weekend maintenance work to minimize operational disruption.
  • Drive routine maintenance execution to achieve a >98% Preventive Maintenance completion rate.
  • Spearhead Continuous Improvement projects and root-cause analysis initiatives to enhance maintenance KPIs.

Benefits

  • Employees at Rivian are often offered comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, ESPP and potential RSU grants, performance bonuses, and generous time off including paid parental and sick leave. Perks can include 24/7 mental-health coaching and therapy, Hinge Health for Anthem enrollees, tuition assistance and professional development, plus on-site food and a wide range of employee discounts on items like computers, mobile phones, home loans, and pet care.
