Job description

As a Firmware Engineer on Apple’s Human Interface Devices Bluetooth team, you will develop embedded firmware for next-generation Bluetooth accessory devices. This role involves collaborating with multi-functional teams to design reliable firmware and solve complex system issues. You will work closely with hardware, software, algorithms, and quality teams to enhance the performance and user experience of Apple's products. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of industry experience
  • Experience in C/C++ for bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware development
  • Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols such as UART, I2C, and SPI
  • Strong experience with wireless protocols, ideally Bluetooth, and 32-bit microcontrollers
  • Hands-on experience with embedded compilers, linkers, and low-level startup routines
  • Proficient in firmware architecture and debugging tools including JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
  • Development experience on Unix, Linux, or MacOS platforms
  • Proven track record of solving complex problems in multi-functional teams
