Join the Cocoa frameworks engineering group as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help build and test framework APIs for Apple's platforms including macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. The team focuses on enhancing developer and user experiences through key technologies such as SwiftUI, Appkit, and CoreData. This role emphasizes the importance of quality assurance in software development, requiring strong programming fundamentals and automation experience. • At least 2 years of prior hands-on iOS or macOS application development experience.
• Experience with Swift and/or Objective-C is preferred.
• Experience with databases such as SQLite and sync frameworks like CloudKit.
• Strong triaging and debugging skills with a solid grasp of OS fundamentals.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse group with strong interpersonal skills.

• Develop and maintain CoreData/SwiftData test applications and automated test suites.
• Design and maintain automation frameworks for testing various APIs.
• Monitor CI performance and analyze test results.
• Identify gaps in existing test plans and enhance them for scalability and maintainability.
