Job description

The Worldwide Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) team at Apple is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to optimize processes through data and technology solutions. This role focuses on leading business process re-engineering opportunities and requires a deep understanding of supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong project management skills. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of global supply chain management experience in complex industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of leading strategic programs and executing tactical project-level activities.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Supply Chain Planning tools and knowledge of Supply Chain Execution tools and SAP ERP system is a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge in process mapping and experience leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Relevant project management qualifications preferred such as PMP certifications.
  • MS in relevant fields like Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or MBA is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an advocate for functional teams to define and deliver solution capabilities.
  • Liaise between functional teams and IS&T to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Define and manage business process and technology roadmaps in support of long-term strategies.
  • Inspire change by implementing new ideas effectively within the Apple culture.
  • Provide functional subject matter expertise and leadership to inspire innovation.
  • Apply analytical skills to rationalize change.
  • Lead complex projects to major milestones and develop project justification proposals.
  • Gather and synthesize detailed global business requirements and design specifications.
  • Facilitate project-related testing, roll-out, training, and post-mortem work.
  • Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to project management and senior-executive teams.
  • Address escalations and develop root cause analysis and problem solutions for operations escalations.
  • Define and implement KPIs for operational metrics and identify key success measures for projects.
