Job description

The Home Hardware EPM team is focused on developing hardware sub-systems for new Home products, guiding projects from architecture definition to mass production. This role combines technical expertise with program management skills, providing exposure to executive leadership. The position requires leading a cross-functional team to address engineering challenges and communicate effectively across various levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and manage complex build processes.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering is required, with a preference for Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware engineering or operations program management.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage factory build events and vendor relationships.
  • Strong technical background in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage complex build matrices and detailed build planning schedules.
  • Superior attention to detail with a strong commitment to rigor and excellence.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to travel internationally to support build events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a broad cross-functional team in developing Home hardware products.
  • Recognize, assess, and communicate cross-functional issues and risks.
  • Maintain good communication and provide multiple levels of status to individual contributors and executive management.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams including Systems Engineering, Mechanical design, Software/Firmware, Reliability, and Operations.
  • Manage complex build matrices and detailed build planning schedules.
