As a System Reliability Engineer at Apple, you will collaborate with diverse hardware teams to ensure product durability and reliability. Your role will involve identifying high-risk failure modes early in the design process and working closely with design engineering teams to mitigate those risks. You will create innovative reliability tests and develop critical test equipment while supporting failure analysis efforts. This position requires a proactive attitude and a passion for driving continuous product improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, materials engineering, electrical engineering, or physics.
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Familiarity with Failure Analysis techniques including Optical Microscopy and Scanning Electron Microscopy.
- Ability to create clear and concise presentations using tools like Keynote and Excel.
- Capability to travel internationally without restriction.
- M.S. or PhD in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Statistical experience with tools such as Weibull or JMP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sharp attention to detail.
- Confidence in presenting test results to cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
