The Engineering Program Manager will join the Video Engineering EPM team to work on advanced Apple Neural Engine, machine learning, and AI technologies. This role focuses on delivering a world-class Apple experience through effective product development and program management. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive and track firmware and low-level software projects. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this dynamic environment.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Program management experience taking a product through all stages of development.
- Experience in embedded firmware/software development with relevant hardware.
- Hands-on experience with AI technologies in the workplace.
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive, plan, and track firmware and low-level software projects.
- Drive ML model inference and optimizations for performance, power, and memory.
- Build development schedules, identify critical paths, and ensure thorough project execution.
- Identify technical risk areas and develop mitigation strategies in partnership with Apple technologists.
- Ensure continuous coordination and communication with engineering teams.
- Synthesize and abstract large amounts of data into concise analyses that provide key findings and recommendations.
