Rivian is seeking a Systems Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability is integrated into the core of all products from concept to production. This role involves collaboration with various teams to establish reliability requirements and improve product performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in reliability engineering and a passion for outdoor adventure. The position emphasizes problem-solving and innovation in the development of Electric Adventure Vehicles.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
• One or more years of industry experience in a reliability engineering role is preferred.
• Experience with facilitating FMEAs and leading cross-functional teams is necessary.
• Working knowledge of reliability statistical methods is required.
• Familiarity with a coding language, preferably Python, is needed.
• Experience with large data analysis tools is essential.
• Knowledge of statistical software for reliability, such as JMP or the ReliaSoft suite, is required.

• Design reliability into the core of all Rivian products from concept to production phases.
• Collaborate closely with Attribute, Warranty, Design, and Product Line teams to define reliability requirements.
• Develop and maintain reliability models to predict performance and establish hardware reliability requirements.
• Support the development of vehicle testing to understand hardware and software integration robustness.
• Set and communicate reliability requirements and targets for Rivian products.
• Analyze warranty claims, field returns, and in-service data to measure product performance against design targets.
