AMD is seeking a Senior Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• One year of experience in the job offered or a related engineering position
• Experience in performing hardware verification
• Knowledge of CPU, GPU, or SoC architecture
• Proficiency in logic and circuit design
• Experience with ASIC design and CMOS transistor design
• Familiarity with C, C++, or Python programming languages
• Knowledge of Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL
• Experience in physical design of deep submicron digital ASIC chips
• Familiarity with EDA or CAD tools

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing
• Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation
• Define module interfaces and formats for simulation
• Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use
• Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics in the design and testing of AMD products
• Apply engineering principles, best practices, and technologies in various projects
