AMD is seeking a PMTS Silicon Design Engineer to research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductors. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Five years of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a related field and seven years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductors.
• Lead definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
• Drive PPA improvements in both pre-silicon and post-silicon design phases.
• Evaluate and make technical decisions regarding the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
• Utilize expertise with computers and electronics to resolve critical issues and broad design matters.
