• Simulation and debug experience with a Verilog based functional simulator.
• Familiarity with unix/linux environments.
• Knowledge of logic and circuit design.
• Experience with CMOS transistor design and CAD tools.
• Understanding of SOC/system architecture and RTL Design/coding.
• Proficiency in ASIC design tools including synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, and static timing analysis.
• Experience with Front-End EDA tools.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Perform definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
• Define module interfaces and formats for simulation.
• Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits.
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
• Work on problems of moderate scope requiring analysis of various factors.
• Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment.
• Apply engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of AMD products.
