AMD is seeking an MTS Analog Design Engineer to design, develop, modify, and test analog and mixed-signal components for existing and new products. Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Three years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
- Experience with advanced design flows and verification methodologies for mixed-signal chips.
- Experience overseeing the product development cycle for analog integrated circuits.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, and test analog and mixed-signal components and circuitry.
- Simulate and test mixed-signal designs using required technologies and methodologies.
- Track signal performance and evaluate technical data to provide recommendations and solutions.
- Participate in collaborative projects to enhance the speed and efficiency of AMD processors.
- Take ownership of analog mixed-signal circuit blocks in CPU/GPU designs.
- Interface with cross-functional teams like RTL, Verification, and Physical Design.
- Propose and document specifications and modifications to improve circuits.
- Communicate project objectives and tasks to internal teams and provide updates to external teams.
- Drive layout and design reviews to ensure quality and risk mitigation.
- Train and mentor less experienced technical staff and junior engineers.
