AMD is seeking a Senior Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in hardware verification and validation.
• Proficiency in testing hardware designs using Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
• Knowledge of CPU architecture, GPU architecture, or x86-64 architecture.
• Familiarity with Unix or Linux environments.
• Experience in programming with C, C++, or Python.
• Understanding of GPU Programming/CUDA and AI/ML models and frameworks.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Perform definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
• Define module interfaces and formats for simulation.
• Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits.
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
• Work on problems of moderate scope requiring analysis of various factors.
• Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment.
