Job description

AMD is seeking a Senior Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.
  • Experience in high-speed VLSI design.
  • Familiarity with key stages in the Physical Design flow of VLSI chip design.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, C, Python, or Tcl.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Perform definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
  • Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
  • Define module interfaces and formats for simulation and testing.
  • Develop and maintain block level IP and MP subsystem verification architecture and test methodologies.
  • Debug and solve integration issues with SoC Integration and SoC DV teams.
  • Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis and timing analysis.
