AMD is seeking a Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. Candidates will engage in ASIC development, including architecture design and system simulation. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field
• Experience in C, C++, or Python
• Familiarity with Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL
• Knowledge of RTL design and coding
• Understanding of logic and circuit design
• Experience with CPU, GPU, or SoC architecture
• Proficiency in ASIC design and ASIC design tools such as synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, and static timing analysis

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing
• Perform definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation
• Define module interfaces and formats for simulation
• Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use
• Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment
• Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of AMD products
