AMD is seeking a Senior Silicon Design Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. This position offers multiple openings and does not require travel.

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• One year of experience in the job offered or a related engineering role.
• Experience in hardware verification, logic and circuit design, CMOS transistor design, and RTL design/coding.
• Familiarity with System Verilog, ASIC design tools, TCL, CPU architecture, and Fault Tolerant Computing.

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
• Define module interfaces and formats for simulation.
• Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving complex integrated circuits.
• Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
