Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a skilled engineer to design, implement, and deliver innovations for managing GPU-based AI servers. The role focuses on out-of-band management, firmware development, and server architecture, working closely with a global team of BIOS developers. Requirements
- Domain expertise in System BIOS (UEFI) Firmware development on X86 or ARM Platforms.
- Strong experience with EDK2 Firmware architecture.
- Solid understanding of low-level interfaces between SBIOS, BMC and OS like I2C/SPI/PCIe/JTAG.
- Experience with C/C++ development, bash/python for scripting, and debugging skills in embedded Linux operating environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of experience with demonstrated strong ability as an individual contributor.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deliver innovations for managing GPU-based AI servers.
- Work with a global team of BIOS developers on NVIDIA server designs.
- Design and develop performance optimized UEFI/BIOS solutions using industry standards.
- Instrument code to ensure maximum code coverage and write automated unit tests.
- Provide software quality reports based on static analysis and code coverage.
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure developed code aligns with product security goals.
- Partner closely with hardware teams to influence hardware design and review architecture.
- Work with QA/Test architects to develop proper test tools and automation for system qualification.
