Job description

The Analyst role in the BXMA Treasury team at Blackstone focuses on managing liquidity and optimizing cash allocation across various assets. The team is responsible for portfolio and fund financing, cash management, and broker relations. The ideal candidate will possess both technical and qualitative skills to enhance Treasury operations and relationships. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on generating attractive risk-adjusted returns for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Cash & Collateral Management, Liquidity Management, Prime Brokerage, or Stock Loan is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL and/or Python.
  • A high degree of professional integrity and a collaborative workplace approach.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure adequate liquidity across the BXMA platform.
  • Leverage data and technology to optimize allocation of cash.
  • Manage bank relationships to identify economic opportunities and technologies.
  • Identify and execute market opportunities to add incremental returns for investors.
  • Develop skills across a full range of Treasury disciplines.
  • Enhance data, reporting, and workflow tools to monitor key performance measures.
  • Maintain oversight of collateral and margin daily processes across asset classes.
