The role is for a key engineer on the BXCI Technology team, focusing on the core security and entity mastering platform that supports Blackstone's Credit and Insurance business. The team is responsible for building mission-critical platforms that enhance investment decisions through technology. The position emphasizes collaboration with investment teams and external providers to streamline workflows and ensure data accuracy. The ideal candidate will leverage cloud-native technologies and modern software engineering practices to drive innovation.

• 5+ years of proven software engineering experience in a relevant industry.
• Proficiency in C# and/or Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and databases.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and knowledge of Terraform.
• Strong background in object-oriented programming and scalable microservice architectures.
• Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA) or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Use cloud native technologies and services to build scalable, reliable, and secure applications.
• Build, support, and integrate web applications, microservices, and data pipelines with high code quality.
• Write automated units, integration, and deployment tests.
• Utilize standard CI/CD tooling to build and deploy application code in various environments.
• Lead technical design and code reviews with team members and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Provide technical support, automate repetitive tasks, and stay updated with industry trends.
• Mentor and train junior-level developers and contribute to the collaborative team culture.
