Job description

The Senior Software Technical Program Driver will lead efforts in developing innovative compute software solutions for various sectors, impacting enterprise customers and academic institutions. This role requires collaboration with multiple teams, including Software Development Managers and Customer Program Managers, to streamline processes and enhance software development workflows. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and customer escalation management, ensuring successful delivery of complex products. The position emphasizes strategic planning, risk management, and effective communication with both internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in a similar or related role.
  • 5+ years of experience in driving down Software / Hardware customer escalations.
  • Hands-on experience with software development for hardware platforms.
  • Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex products to customers.
  • Strong communication and technical presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with various teams to establish and implement streamlined processes for software development.
  • Work with customers and program managers on software issues and technical feedback.
  • Lead status meetings and address customer concerns while managing release schedules.
  • Partner with multi-functional teams to strategically plan and drive software objectives.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, identifying risks and formulating management strategies.
  • Enhance existing product development and software release processes.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable tasks and keep customers informed about issue statuses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to resolve customer issues.
