Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Validation Engineer to join their team in Hillsboro. This role focuses on leading project validation efforts and ensuring successful execution of validation tasks. The engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and guide team members. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the AI era by solving complex technical issues.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in validation engineering with a proven track record of success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Engineering (BSCE), or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams towards ambitious goals.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within diverse teams.
  • A thorough understanding of design of experiments and debugging methodologies.
  • Experience with oscilloscope usage and probing for signal capture.
  • Familiarity with I2C, SPI, I3C, UART, PCIE, USB, Ethernet, and Infiniband signals.
  • Knowledge of switching power supply testing and stability analysis.
  • Experience in EMI and EMC product debugging.
  • Linux command line experience for administration and system testing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project validation efforts in the lab to ensure flawless execution.
  • Interact with multidisciplinary teams to monitor validation progress.
  • Report progress and determine the best course of action regarding validation resources.
  • Set up and manage debug meetings to adhere to project timelines.
  • Help the project team anticipate issues and develop effective solutions.
