Job description
The Senior Accelerated Computing Architect at NVIDIA will focus on developing software and system architectures for high-performance computing, machine learning, and AI. This role involves optimizing performance on NVIDIA GPUs and collaborating with various teams to enhance accelerated computing applications. The architect will also engage in writing and presenting technical work through various mediums. Requirements
- An MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methods.
- Hands-on experience with the massively parallel GPU programming model, such as CUDA or OpenCL.
- Strong knowledge of C and C++ with a solid understanding of software design and algorithms.
- Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis and optimization for NVIDIA GPUs.
- Create and optimize core parallel algorithms and data structures.
- Analyze the interplay of hardware and software architectures on core algorithms.
- Collaborate with hardware design, software engineering, product, and research teams.
- Facilitate software-hardware co-design for accelerated computing applications.
- Write and present work through white papers, conference publications, and blog posts.
