Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a software engineer to join a team responsible for developing and supporting infrastructure tools for design engineers. The role focuses on creating efficient software to automate chip design and verification processes. The engineer will work with a global team to build reliable and high-performance software used by hundreds of engineers. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of modern AI and computing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of software development experience, MS or PhD preferred.
  • Experience with C++ or Golang and Unix/Linux.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, computer architecture, and computer science theory.
  • Experience with VLSI frontend design and verification.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a global and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to build reliable, scalable, and high-performance software.
  • Develop software tools in C++/Golang to analyze and construct chip designs.
  • Research and develop software solutions for greater efficiency in architecture and design teams.
  • Optimize daily workflows for chip modelers and designers.
