Job description

Join NVIDIA as a Product Development Engineer, where you will be integral to the Operations Engineering team focused on developing new AI products. This role emphasizes architecting, designing, and implementing efficient manufacturing processes for innovative AI systems. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to enhance product development and ensure smooth production ramp at global manufacturing sites. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Preferred 3+ years' experience in Board/System Product development Engineering
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Able to travel to other countries for on-site factory product builds (6 to 8 weeks per year)
  • Knowledge of hardware and software interaction, including embedded low-level firmware and operating systems
  • Understanding of System on Chip (SoC), CPU, GPU, IO interfaces, and memory subsystem design
  • Experience in design analysis, prototype bring-up, debugging, failure verification, and manufacturing test support
  • Experience in Manufacturing Test and validation planning and reporting
  • Design of experiments creation, execution, and data analysis
  • Possess excellent partnership and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement efficient manufacturing processes for AI products
  • Represent Ops Engineering during the architecture and design product life cycle
  • Provide manufacturing capability feedback to design teams
  • Define product test requirements and support NPI bring up, validation, and characterization
  • Continuously find opportunities for potential process improvements
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement improvements
