Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a senior engineer to join the mixed-signal design team focused on developing next-generation NVLINK technology. This dynamic team works with pioneering technology that impacts various product lines, including consumer graphics and self-driving cars. The role involves hands-on experience with high-speed electrical and optical interfaces, as well as analog circuits. Candidates will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a technology-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Master of Science or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with strong analog design background or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of analog design experience
  • CMOS Analog / Mixed Signal Circuit Design Experience in deep sub-micron process, especially in FINFET
  • Experience with design and verification tools such as Cadence's IC design environment and analog circuit simulation tools like Spectre and HSpice
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a phenomenal teammate

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high speed electrical and optical interfaces and analog circuits
  • Define circuit requirements and complete design from schematic, layout, and verification to characterization
  • Conduct schematic design of deep-submicron CMOS technologies using Spectre, Hspice or similar tools
  • Lead architecture, transistor design and verification using industry standard EDA tools such as Cadence virtuoso
  • Optimize circuit to meet specifications for system performance
  • Work closely with layout engineers by providing detailed floorplan and guidance for matching and high-speed routings
  • Provide support for post-silicon bring-up and debugging

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
