Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a senior engineer to join the mixed-signal design team focused on developing next-generation NVLINK technology. This dynamic team works with pioneering technology that impacts various product lines, including consumer graphics and self-driving cars. The role involves hands-on experience with high-speed electrical and optical interfaces, as well as analog circuits. Requirements
- Master of Science or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with strong analog design background or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of analog design experience
- CMOS Analog / Mixed Signal Circuit Design Experience in deep sub-micron process, especially in FINFET
- Experience with design and verification tools such as Cadence's IC design environment and analog circuit simulation tools like Spectre and HSpice
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a phenomenal teammate
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement high speed electrical and optical interfaces and analog circuits
- Define circuit requirements and complete design from schematic, layout, and verification to characterization
- Conduct schematic design of deep-submicron CMOS technologies using Spectre, Hspice or similar tools
- Lead architecture, transistor design and verification using industry standard EDA tools such as Cadence virtuoso
- Optimize circuit to meet specifications for system performance
- Work closely with layout engineers by providing detailed floorplan and guidance for matching and high-speed routings
- Provide support for post-silicon bring-up and debugging
