The Senior DL Algorithms Engineer will focus on optimizing large language models and omni models for performance on NVIDIA's accelerated inference software stack. This role requires expertise in deep learning and neural networks, particularly in inference, and involves working across the hardware/software stack. The engineer will directly influence the hardware and software roadmap in a fast-growing technology company at the forefront of AI innovation. Candidates should be prepared to analyze performance bottlenecks and contribute to open-source frameworks.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in deep learning and neural networks, particularly in inference.
- Strong background in performance profiling, analysis, and optimization for GPU-based applications.
- Proficient in PyTorch or equivalent frameworks for AI or HPC-heavy application development.
- Deep understanding of computer architecture and familiarity with GPU architecture fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Enable and optimize state-of-the-art open models on NVIDIA’s accelerated inference software stack.
- Contribute new features, fix bugs, and deliver production code to open-source frameworks.
- Profile and analyze bottlenecks across the full inference stack to enhance performance.
- Benchmark state-of-the-art offerings and conduct competitive analysis for NVIDIA’s software and hardware stack.
- Co-design with partner teams to develop the next generation of AI models and services.
