Job description
The Senior Mask Layout Design Engineer will join a diverse team at NVIDIA focused on high-speed mixed-signal circuit designs. This role involves performing physical layout for various mixed-signal functions using advanced CMOS technologies. The engineer will collaborate with ASIC and mixed-signal engineers to customize designs for VLSI products. The position emphasizes innovation and teamwork in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
Requirements
- A BSEE or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8+ years of industry experience.
- A deep understanding of analog circuit layout concepts in submicron CMOS technologies.
- Proficiency with Cadence custom circuit design tools.
- Experience with verification tools such as Dracula, Hercules, Calibre, and Primeyield.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Python, and Skill.
- Knowledge of DRC and LVS checking flows with the ability to customize decks.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical layout for mixed-signal functions like PLL's, high speed SerDes, and Analog to Digital converters.
- Work collaboratively with ASIC and mixed-signal engineers to customize designs for integration in VLSI products.
- Participate in floor planning, custom layout, and verification against design rules and schematics.
