The role is within Blackstone's Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA) Product Management team, which focuses on enhancing investment product content and client engagement. The team collaborates with various investment and client-facing organizations to ensure effective communication of strategies and offerings. The primary focus of this position is to improve and rebuild data infrastructure, translating complex data processes into client-friendly outputs. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical skills to solve data-related challenges and oversee developers in creating automated reporting solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Successful track record working with databases, data structures, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with programming languages preferred, specifically SQL and Python.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with VBA/Power Query is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Dig into manual data processes involving large Excel models and rebuild them entirely from scratch using best practices and tools.
  • Develop new data models and tools in partnership with technology teams that the business can use for automation and enhanced analytics.
  • Visualize, design, and implement new business processes and data workflows, translating stakeholder business requirements into actionable projects.
  • Oversee software developer resources to implement solutions.
  • Communicate effectively and summarize issues with both highly technical developers and non-technical front office business people.

Benefits

  • Employees at Blackstone are often offered comprehensive and competitive benefits, including robust health and retirement plans, paid time off, and a range of quality-of-life programs such as wellbeing support and family planning resources.
