·FY 2025Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the CSP Engagements team to develop advanced AI/ML datacenters using NVIDIA GPUs. The role focuses on enhancing the cloud-native stack for datacenter products and involves debugging complex Kubernetes and Slurm issues. The engineer will work on customer workflows, prototype feature extensions, and tackle scheduling challenges across multi-rack, multi-tenant environments. This position requires collaboration with various teams to deliver integrated solutions and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Strong source-level expertise in Kubernetes internals and Slurm.
- Hands-on experience integrating next-gen GPUs or comparable accelerators into containerized clusters.
- Proven track record debugging large-scale, cloud-native stacks across networking, storage, and control planes.
- Customer-facing engineering or solutions-architect background with experience in requirements gathering and PoC ownership.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical details and business impact.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience in distributed systems.
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Perform deep-dive debugging of multi-rack, multi-tenant clusters.
- Gather customer requirements and prototype feature extensions for Kubernetes operators and Slurm plugins.
- Drive joint architecture reviews and convert findings into RFCs and upstream pull requests.
- Create reproducible testbeds that mirror customer environments and automate validation.
- Deliver technical collateral and present at customer on-sites and conferences.
- Collaborate with AE, FAE, and Solution Architect teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
