The manager will influence architecture and design decisions while driving innovation in release processes. This position is critical for delivering exceptional solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in the software industry with a focus on system software and firmware development.
  • 5+ years of proven technical leadership in multi-team organizations related to data center firmware.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of computer system architecture, operating systems principles, and HW-SW interactions.
  • Working fluency in Python and Linux for design review and debugging.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of software and firmware releases for rack-scale computing products.
  • Define release scope and collaborate with product management and technical architects.
  • Influence architecture and design decisions for software and firmware across development life cycles.
  • Partner with developers and QA to improve release quality and ensure no bugs reach customers.
  • Own the ingestion and packaging of software and firmware binaries for deployment.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
