Job description

The Quantitative Strategy Team at Blackstone is focused on investing in systematic trading strategies across various asset classes, including digital assets. This role involves a combination of analytical and strategic thinking to enhance investment processes. The team aims to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for clients through innovative quantitative methods and partnerships with hedge fund managers. Candidates will engage in both qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify investment opportunities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in finance or a related field
  • Strong quantitative and coding skills, particularly in Python
  • Exceptional analytical and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel
  • Strong presentation skills using MS PowerPoint
  • A collaborative approach to foster strong working relationships

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and invest in systematic and digital asset-focused hedge fund strategies.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of hedge fund strategies.
  • Develop quantitative tools to improve the overall investment process.
  • Create bespoke quantitative models to exploit inefficiencies across asset classes.
  • Make investment style recommendations based on current market conditions and future expectations.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with systematic hedge fund managers to develop unique investment opportunities.
