The Director for NVIDIA's Isaac for Healthcare Engineering initiative will lead the development of a platform that transforms how healthcare robotics companies create and deploy AI systems. This role involves directing technical strategies and engineering activities while collaborating with key healthcare partners. The position requires building a strong engineering team and fostering a culture of excellence. The Director will also influence product roadmaps and represent NVIDIA at industry conferences.

• 15+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams in robotics, medical devices, autonomous systems, or AI platform development.
• A consistent track record of building and shipping sophisticated software platforms or developer frameworks at scale.
• Deep expertise in one or more areas such as robot perception and control, physics-based simulation, medical image analysis, or real-time embedded AI inference.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, grow, and retain senior engineers and engineering managers.
• Strong multi-functional communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
• A graduate degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Assume full accountability for the engineering strategy and roadmap for Isaac for Healthcare.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow a team of engineers across various technical domains.
• Act as the lead engineering interface for NVIDIA's healthcare collaborators.
• Define the long-term technical vision for healthcare physical AI development toolchains.
• Interact with NVIDIA's engineering and research teams to coordinate platform strategy.
• Work with product management and business development to build the go-to-market strategy for Isaac for Healthcare.
• Represent NVIDIA at healthcare robotics and MedTech conferences and engage with standards organizations.
