Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a skilled engineer to join their CAD team, focusing on the development and support of tools essential for semiconductor products. This role involves leveraging advanced AI build platforms and collaborating with a diverse team to enhance methodologies for chip builds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and VLSI principles. Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • A BE, BTech, or MTech in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven knowledge or experience with PnR flows and familiarity with Verilog, VLSI, and ASIC development principles.
  • Strong software engineering skills, including software design, algorithms, and QA.
  • Extensive experience in Python and C++ programming.
  • Knowledge of GenAI, LLM, and AI Code Generation is a plus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Architect highly automated and customizable flows using software engineering with modular designs and object-oriented techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to upscale methodologies for industry-leading chip builds.
  • Develop tools using C++ and Python, ensuring flawless integration and execution.
  • Engage cross-discipline with VLSI organizations to identify and determine future challenges for successful implementation.
