Job description

The Senior ASIC Verification Engineer will be part of the Coherent High Speed Interconnect team at NVIDIA, focusing on verifying the design and implementation of high-speed coherent interconnects for mobile SoCs and GPUs. This role offers the opportunity to impact various product lines, including consumer graphics and self-driving cars, in the evolving AI computing era. The engineer will work with a global team to push the boundaries of technology and define future computing platforms. Candidates should be creative and autonomous, ready to contribute to a diverse and innovative work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant verification experience
  • Experience in architecting test bench environments for unit level verification
  • Background in verification using random stimulus along with functional coverage and assertion-based verification methodologies
  • Prior Design or Verification experience of Coherent high-speed interconnects
  • Knowledge of industry standard interconnect protocols like PCIE, CXL, CHI
  • Strong background developing test benches from scratch using System Verilog and UVM methodology
  • C++ programming language experience and scripting ability
  • Expertise in System Verilog
  • Exposure to design and verification tools such as VCS or equivalent simulation tools and debug tools like Debussy and GDB
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills
  • Experienced communication and interpersonal skills
  • A history of mentoring junior engineers and interns is a huge plus

Responsibilities

  • Verify the design and implementation of high-speed coherent interconnects
  • Be responsible for micro-architecture using sophisticated verification methodologies
  • Understand the design and implementation, define the verification scope, and develop the verification infrastructure including testbenches, BFMs, checkers, and monitors
  • Complete test and coverage plans and verify the correctness of the design
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, emulation, and silicon verification teams to accomplish tasks
