Job description

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced ASIC Verification Engineer to join the System-On-Chip (SOC) group. This role focuses on verifying and improving verification methodologies for system-level IP design. The engineer will work on performance measurement across multiple projects and ensure high-quality delivery of IPs. Collaboration with architects, designers, and software engineers is essential to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient with System Verilog and UVM, and OOPS based programming.
  • Strong coding skills in Python or other industry-standard scripting languages.
  • Strong understanding of RTL design (Verilog).
  • Good understanding of computer architecture fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with verification tools such as VCS or equivalent simulation tools, and debug tools like Verdi.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the unit level/sub-system verification environment.
  • Understand the architecture specifications and develop a test plan to verify the design.
  • Create UVM components, sequences, tests, and scoreboards.
  • Sign off on the verification efforts with high-quality code and functional coverage.
  • Launch regressions, resolve issues, and make progress towards achieving DV milestone targets.
  • Automate the manual steps involved in launching build, regression, and triage.
  • Proactively contribute to improving the efficiency of the testbenches by embracing the latest techniques.
  • Ensure end-to-end verification of IPs for the highest quality delivery.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
