Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a skilled firmware developer to join their team focused on GPU-based client products. The role involves designing and delivering innovative solutions, particularly in System BIOS (UEFI) development for X86 or ARM platforms. The candidate will collaborate with global teams and work closely with hardware teams to influence design and architecture. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in System BIOS (UEFI) firmware development.
  • Strong experience with IBVs or EDK2 firmware architecture.
  • Solid understanding of low-level interfaces between BIOS (UEFI) and OS.
  • Experience with C/C++ development and scripting in bash/python.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deliver innovations for GPU-based client products with a focus on firmware development.
  • Collaborate with a global team of BIOS (UEFI) developers on NVIDIA client designs.
  • Develop performance optimized UEFI/BIOS solutions using industry standards.
  • Automate unit tests for each implemented module and maintain detailed unit test case reports.
  • Work with the security team to ensure developed code aligns with product security goals.
