Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Principal ISP Architect to lead the development of advanced camera imaging technologies for autonomous driving and robotics applications. This role involves pushing the boundaries of image processing algorithms and architectures, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to develop specifications and models while representing NVIDIA's ISP capabilities to partners and customers. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of AI and computer vision.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of proven experience in ISP architecture and imaging science for automotive, robotics, surveillance, and consumer cameras.
  • Strong foundation in human- and machine-centric image quality assessment and algorithm complexity analysis.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, Python, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Excellent communication skills for productive personal interactions and effective documentation and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the build and development of world-class ISP to meet ambitious performance and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in image processing algorithms and architectures.
  • Engage with new camera application areas to understand needs and discover opportunities for innovation.
  • Develop ISP architecture specifications, functional models, and tests in collaboration with other teams.
  • Represent new and existing NVIDIA ISP capabilities to internal groups, partners, and customers.
