Job description

NVIDIA is looking for a System Architect to lead the design and integration of next-generation GPU and LPU systems at the rack and platform level. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create high-performance AI platforms while ensuring reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system architecture and a passion for innovation in AI technology. Join NVIDIA to make a significant impact in the evolving landscape of computing.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; MS/PhD preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in server, storage, networking, or rack-level hardware, with several years in system or platform architecture.
  • Strong experience with mechanical aspects of data center hardware, including rack structures and cooling solutions.
  • Experience in making complex cross-functional decisions and working at rack scale.
  • Strong background in electrical architecture and power distribution networks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pathfinding for system and rack architecture for new GPU/LPU platforms.
  • Tailor system-level solutions to enhance performance, efficiency, and scalability for LPU-based systems.
  • Define rack, node, and subsystem requirements across various technical domains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop practical architectures and execution plans.
  • Drive feasibility studies through modeling, simulation, and experiments.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
