NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join its CPU SOC HW Infrastructure team, focusing on leveraging AI to enhance chip design methodologies and tools. The role involves collaborating with hardware design teams to address infrastructure needs and integrating AI/ML solutions. Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong software architecture, development, and testing experience
- Solid understanding of Linux and proficiency in programming skills such as Python or Perl
- Prior exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAGs) or agentic AI workflows
Responsibilities
- Define and deploy AI and ML applications to assist in chip design, debugging, and verification stages
- Collaborate closely with hardware chip design teams to understand their infrastructure needs
- Architect and develop novel tools, user interfaces, and creative applications
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and advocate for their integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical or productivity obstacles impacting team performance
