Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior ASIC Design Engineer to join the Memory Controller team, focusing on the design and implementation of innovative Memory Controllers for Tegra SoCs. This role involves collaboration with architects, software engineers, and circuit designers to deliver sophisticated solutions. The engineer will be responsible for micro-architecture and design, including RTL design and functional verification. This position offers the opportunity to impact various product lines, including consumer graphics and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related degree is required.
  • 3+ years of relevant ASIC design experience with a background in DRAM memory or processor design.
  • Extensive experience in micro-architecture and RTL development.
  • Relevant experience with various stages in the ASIC design flow including functional verification and timing analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Verilog or System Verilog.
  • Exposure to digital systems, VLSI design, and computer architecture is required.
  • Programming skills in C and/or PERL/PYTHON are necessary.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
