We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a new team focused on building foundational infrastructure for Robotics Research at NVIDIA. This team will collaborate closely with the Generalist Embodied Agent Research group on Project GR00T, which aims to develop full-stack technology for humanoid robots. The role emphasizes creating ML productivity tools to enhance researcher efficiency and optimize GPU usage. You will work with a collaborative research team that is influential in multimodal foundation models and embodied AI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of full-time industry experience in large-scale MLOps and AI infrastructure
  • Strong experience in full-stack software development, focusing on building CI/CD or visualization tools
  • Proficient in both front-end and back-end programming with Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar
  • Familiar with modern web front/back end technologies like React and Node.js
  • Knowledge of GPU technologies like CUDA and NCCL

Responsibilities

  • Build highly scalable, robust, and efficient CI/CD frameworks for data-intensive workloads
  • Develop world-class visualization tools for analyzing and optimizing datasets and compute jobs across thousands of GPUs
  • Create AI agents to improve programming efficiency and reduce human effort in fixing job failures
  • Collaborate with researchers to gather requirements and deliver full-stack solutions that enhance productivity

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
