The Lead SoC Product Architect for Telecom AI RAN at NVIDIA will define SoC and platform architecture for radio and distributed unit products. This role is part of a team focused on building a GPU-accelerated AI-RAN platform that transforms telecommunications networks. The architect will work closely with operators and NEPs to bring software-defined baseband solutions to production at scale. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic vision to drive the AI-RAN roadmap.

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of experience in wireless RAN/baseband architecture or SoC product definition, with significant time focused on 4G/5G L1/L2 and/or O-RAN/vRAN systems.
• Proven track record defining SoC or platform architectures for high-performance communications or signal-processing products.
• Comprehensive knowledge of 3GPP RAN standards and O-RAN split architectures.
• Strong knowledge of L1/PHY algorithms and practical experience with one commercial-grade 4G/5G PHY or MAC implementation.

• Define the SoC product family and roadmap concerning Radio Access Networks in telecommunications.
• Perform detailed workload and use-case analysis pertaining to RU and DU and map these requirements into SoC features.
• Drive competitive analysis versus traditional baseband ASICs and alternative vRAN/O-RAN solutions.
• Collect and synthesize customer and ecosystem requirements from operators, NEPs, and software partners.
• Collaborate with NVIDIA’s RAN software, AI, and cloud-native engineering teams to ensure efficient implementation of AI-native RAN applications.
• Present deeply technical content to customers, partners, and internal leadership.
