  • 12 or more years of relevant experience
  • Experience with CPU workload methodology including state capture and replay
  • Knowledge of CPU and system architecture and microarchitecture
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Research, architect, implement, and evaluate mechanisms for capturing and studying complex applications suitable for CPU analysis in simulation.
  • Implement tools, processes, and systems for collecting traces and checkpoints for complex multi-threaded heterogeneous applications.
  • Support other architects in using tools to study workloads.
  • Contribute to developing functional and performance models of ARM-based systems.
  • Focus on infrastructure for recording and replaying workload sequences for performance and power analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry and academic guidelines relating to simulation and architectural analysis.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts.
