Joining NVIDIA's DGX Cloud Team involves contributing to the infrastructure that supports innovative AI research. The team focuses on optimizing the efficiency and resiliency of machine learning workloads while developing scalable AI infrastructure tools and services. As a Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing AI infrastructure services to achieve peak performance and high resiliency for DGX Cloud. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, preferably with Python, Go, C/C++, or similar high-performance languages.
- Consistent track record of building and scaling large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and HPC/AI platforms such as Slurm.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions at the intersection of machine learning, distributed systems, and high-performance computing.
- Design, develop, and optimize microservices orchestrated by Kubernetes for large-scale AI training workflows.
- Co-design and implement APIs that integrate with NVIDIA's resiliency stacks.
- Craft a submission abstraction for model engineers and training platforms to manage long-running training jobs.
- Ensure services are modular and can be deployed onto on-premises AI clusters using NVIDIA Hardware and Cloud services.
