Job description

NVIDIA's System Co-Design Group is seeking a versatile engineer to join their Silicon Hardware team. This role involves collaborating with silicon validation teams to define and refine platform requirements for various cutting-edge technologies, including AI and self-driving cars. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring compatibility of validation platforms with necessary thermal solutions and power configurations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on innovation and technology advancement.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in silicon bringup, platform validation, or platform design
  • Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering and knowledge of computer architecture
  • Experience with high-speed interfaces and timing analysis
  • Familiarity with large scale Data Center topologies

Responsibilities

  • Create and own methodology for deriving baseline requirements for validation platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional silicon validation teams to understand design constraints
  • Ensure the bring-up platform is compatible with thermal solutions and power configurations
  • Maintain the Engineering Requirements Document to track validation platform requirements
  • Act as the primary interface between silicon validation teams and platform design teams
