Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Product Definition Engineer to join the Silicon Solutions Team, which focuses on delivering innovative solutions for productizing NVIDIA's chips across various markets including gaming, automotive, and datacenter. The role involves evaluating product performance and power targets while collaborating with multi-functional teams to drive product features to production. Candidates will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the development of industry-defining products. A strong background in product performance evaluations and system-level features is essential.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in product performance and power evaluations.
  • Experience with system-level features, product binning methods, optimization techniques, and data analysis tools.
  • Background in critical path analysis, power/performance analysis, process technologies, and transistor/device physics.
  • Experience with silicon bringup and validation, frequency and power characterization, and product analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Understand product performance and power targets, and provide innovative solutions to silicon and system-level problems.
  • Evaluate performance, power, yield, and quality optimizations for products in the GPU and SOC market segments.
  • Identify performance and power-limiting constraints and drive product-specific customizations.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive silicon and system product features to production.
  • Lead teams to implement efficient time-to-market strategies.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
